SC Seeks Response on CBI Probe into Jharkhand Exam Irregularities

On Monday, 24 August 2026, the Supreme Court sent a notice to the Government of Jharkhand and the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) regarding a petition calling for an independent, time-limited inquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into alleged irregularities in the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examinations.
